Squid Game

Seong Gi-Hun, played by Lee Jung-Jae, loses his job. He has an unhappy life. Seong Gi-Hun learns about a covert survival game with a 45.6 billion won prize for the victor. He chooses to participate in the game. In the meantime, Cho Sang-Woo (Park Hae-Soo) and Seong Gi-Hun are similar to brothers. They lived in the same neighborhood when they were young. Cho Sang-Woo managed to graduate from a reputable university and land a solid job despite coming from a low-income home. Due to the misuse of corporate funds, he is currently in a crisis. He chooses to participate in the covert survival game with Seong Gi-Hun.

Squid Game is a Korean drama series. This series managed to steal attention in 83 countries with an overall score of 562. The storyline is very relevant to today's life, namely telling stories about people who are experiencing economic difficulties. However, they are always waiting for a glimmer of hope that can change their lives.

From these nine episodes, there are many meanings in life that we can learn, including the following.

1. The importance of learning financial management

Managing finances is very important in life. We must be able to distinguish between needs and wants. Sometimes we often ignore it until it eventually becomes a bad habit. Dig a hole, close the hole. Don't be afraid to do good to others because we never know how the next life will be. The wheels will always turn. Sometimes above, sometimes below. Spread goodness to anyone selflessly because of the goodness we plant, we will surely reap the results.

That is the moral message that we can learn from Squid Game, a series directed by Hwang Dong-hyuk. Hopefully we don't become dark human beings by judging things only with money.
